Dual Power (2026)

Dual Power was exhibited as part of Mood Swings with Teaspoon Projects at NORITO Gallery, London, UK

a CD publication, released to coincide with the launch of Do Somethin’, commissioned by Focal Point Gallery, both documents and contributes to the Dual Power project, which comprises bedazzled wall-based works, a performance, and CD – the latter consisting of a 12 page booklet that transcribes the performance script, as well as a short audio work that repeatedly samples Britney singing an interrogative ‘Why don’t you do somethin’?’

through the juxtaposition of two seemingly unrelated icons, Dual Power utilises the figures of Britney Spears and Leon Trotsky to investigate agency under capitalism, exploring the dialectical relationship between the nature of class struggle and the role of the individual
